(ADI) is an Australian non-government development aid organisation that provides medical and health services to communities of clearly defined need in Papua New Guinea. The health strategies of ADI are underpinned by capacity building and sustainability. ADI relies on qualified volunteer medical staff working in the selected areas of need for periods of up to six months. ADI has also embarked on an ambitious public health program to deliver Long Life Impregnated Bednets(LLINs) to the total population of Western Province, PNG and to work with local authorities to complete Mass Drug Administration for Lymphatic Filariasis.
